Above: Looking into The Sub office from The Sub — no fire came through here to the front of Square Deal as claimed by SLO City FD leadership.

The Sub Office Proves Fire Did Not Come Into The Front Of Square Deal Recordings & Supplies From The Sub Through The Firewall Between The Two Businesses

The Sub/ SDRS Corp.© stands to prove the fire did not come into front of SDRS through the firewall of The Sub

The Sub office exists on the Square Deal Recordings & Supplies side of the main masonry firewall within the Square Deal building. It is separated by a two-sided 5/8” drywall wall from Square Deal and by a 13” masonry wall from The Sub. You cannot go into Square Deal itself from The Sub office.

The Sub office doorway is the only opening in the 13”-thick masonry firewall between the front of Square Deal and The Sub.

The Higuera Street end of The Sub office has a vent opening that draws air from the Square Deal basement but no personnel passage into the main floor or basement of the Square Deal building.

When The Sub was actively on fire in the main room (1/2-hour to 1-1/2 hours into the fire), the office acted as an air supply feeding fresh air from the Square Deal basement into The Sub fire. No fire, heat, or smoke went into The Sub office. White paint just inside the office door and Ziploc plastic bags hanging on the wall were untouched.

When the fire was started in the front of Square Deal along the wall next to The Sub office, it was likely hoped that the fire would burn the Sub office portion making it look like the fire had come into Square Deal through The Sub office. This is what firefighter narratives claim happened.

Along the wall, the stairs as well as the office supply loft floor, we feel a fire was lit in the front of Square Deal using an accelerant. (see photos: drywall on The Sub office floor.)
Two other locations look like someone kicked the drywall in with their boot and at the third location there is a 2’x2’ section of drywall where both sides of the drywall were knocked in and found lying on the floor of The Sub office after the fire.

By the time the fire started and took off in the front of Square Deal, the fire in The Sub near the office was over and gone. We know the fire was gone because The Sub office now supplied clean air (through the two “kick-ins” and the missing panel) to the Square Deal fire and again, almost no fire, heat, or smoke went into The Sub office. White paint just inside the office door and Ziploc plastic bags were still hanging on the wall undisturbed – There is minimal smoke damage in The Sub office still!

The fact that The Sub office was not EVER involved in either The Sub or Square Deal fire PROVES that the fire did not come through the firewall into The Sub office and into Square Deal as claimed by SLO City FD personnel in their narratives.

The Sub fire on the opposite side of the firewall between The Sub and Square Deal was already done and gone before the front of the Square Deal side exploded into flames.

The fact that The Sub office was not ever involved in the fire proves the firefighter narratives which claim the fire came into the front of Square Deal through the hole in the firewall are false and support the claim that someone lit the fire in the front of Square Deal during the fire – (The Sub office doorway is the only breach in the main building firewall). We think someone used the 2-gallon gas can (that was on top of our flammable safety cabinet at the beginning of the fire but had gone missing at the end) to start interior fire.

Because we were refused an arson investigation of the crimes committed against us, no one will look into the crimes at our fire. The people we are accusing state we do not know what we are talking about and that is the end of it. Crimes were committed and we are refused all of our civil rights. No official will even go over and evaluate our findings.

SLO City FD NEEDS REFORMING FOR US TO HAVE ACTUAL FIRE PROTECTION.

OUR FIRE NEEDS A CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION BY OUTSIDE SOURCES NOT CONTAMINATED BY SLO OFFICIALS.

SDRS Fire Load Notes

The SLO City FD leadership has repeatedly stated we had a huge fire load at Square Deal Recordings & Supplies. This is relatively untrue and totally untrue from the perspective of the two hours they had to stop the fire that was not yet in our building or prevent it from entering Square Deal.
